It’s batik wear for civil servants on Thursdays, but Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan (second from left) wore a suit and tie instead to the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry’s monthly assembly in Putrajaya.
Sidek had on Tuesday reminded civil servants of the circular on the batik wear, which was issued by the Public Service Department and signed by director-general Tan Sri Ismail Adam. Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Seri Dr Jamaludin Jarjis (second from right) and his deputy Datuk Kong Cho Ha (left) adhered to the circular.
