A compelling vision is a crucial leadership tool, Without a specific, realistic plan, however, neither you nor the people you lead will have a map to get where you want to go.
As you chart your strategy, plan the obvious route.
But also anticipate possible roadblocks and develop alternate routes that can take you where you are going.
It helps if others participate in selecting the route and then have a copy of the plan. Not having a map is the surest way to become confused and get lost.
